River Rat Jet Boats LLC is the North American distributor of MiniJet Jet Boats. All River Rats are handmade in Tiffin, Ohio. Our crew has over 75 years of combined experience in mechanics and fabrication and over 100 years of experience in outdoor adventure! Founded by David Thacker in 2020, RiverRat began by viewing a few jet boat videos on YouTube and turning a hobby into a lifestyle. The first River Rat was produced in 2019 and since then the 10' "Squirt" has evolved into the 11' and 12' "Avenger Series" a stable, yet agile machine achieving over 45 mph depending on the power source. RiverRat Jet Boats can be found in creeks and rivers east of the Rocky Mountains and from Maryland to Florida. Our River Rat friends range from average Joe to YouTube stars young and old and can often be found together exploring!
